It’s time to make a visit to the Riviera Maya and the state of YUCATAN. Get the Mayan feel the moment you walk in the door of this tranquil two-level home located in a gated community and find even more culture as you explore the city of Merida and meet its citizens. Get lost in a unique abundance of traditions and culture that you have never experience before. Indulge in the delicious foods found in the pueblitos as you explore Chichen Itza. Bedrooms
We have three bedrooms on the second level comprised of one master with a full bed and an attached master bath and two additional bedrooms both having bunk beds. All rooms have AC units and multiple windows for additional natural lighting.
Outdoors
Don’t forget to put your drinks on ice while you enjoy the outdoor pool and fire up some steaks on the charcoal grill. We have a feeling you will be spending a lot of time hanging outside. There is also complete privacy to rinse off in the outdoor shower near the pool and an additional restroom located off of the back patio for your convenience.
Bathrooms
This home comes with 2 1/2 baths, one of which is connected to the master bedroom. You will find that the home is supplied with: towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and toilet paper.
Things to know
Our home is a non-smoking, non-party environment. Check in is between 2:00pm- 11:00pm and checkout is at 11:00 am. There is a washer/dryer combo within the home for guests. Small pets are permitted along with a pet fee but the property does not have a grass yard. Your hosts are also fluent in English and Spanish to better accommodate your needs.
Kitchen
Our home provides a compact but very much functional kitchen that includes a Mabe refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, 2 individual induction burners and dishes and silverware. And when it’s time to wind down after a day at the beach you’ll find wine glasses for a perfect night.
Living Room/Dining
Kick off your shoes and relax while you watch NETFLIX or ROKU on the 43″ HD TV. The large custom and locally made dining table comfortably seats 6 of you and your closest friends when on your next vacation.

Hello! We our-self’s love taking the time to see and appreciate the world together and meeting new friends along the way. These were the main reasons why we decided to open our home to people who share the same passion and appreciation for art, and cultures as we do. Grilling and hosting for our family and friends is something that we love, so the backyard Grill and space to entertain was an absolute must when building this home.
We truly hope you will make amazing memories in our home and this amazing city like we did and can’t wait to hear your stories! We hope to see you soon!

“What a fantastic place! It was beautiful inside! We loved all the natural edge wood. The backyard with the poop, was so nice and refreshing. Also, the master bathroom shower was so nice with so many options for the spray of the water. We truly enjoyed out stay and would love to come back one day!”

“My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and It was so great! The pool area was beautiful, and it was really nice to have a washer and dryer! Everything was really clean and the bed was super comfortable! The only thing was that the toilet in the master bedroom didn’t flush well, but that is the only minor complaint. The shower was awesome! They provided plenty of towels for the bathroom and pool! They also had a coffee maker with some coffee and tea! Highly recommend you stay here!!!

Zeferino and Anna are excellent hosts! They gave us so many good suggestions that they made our trip a fantastic experience.Casa Chacte Tunich is ideal for resting after getting to know the wonders of Merida. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood and has security at the entrance.
The stay meets all the services it promises, the kitchen has the essentials, they leave you coffee and water, very attentive. The reality is that the photos don’t do it justice because it’s a very spacious and clean space.
Our favorite space was the backyard, it has an amazing pool where my whole family lived, and we had a pleasant experience. Also, the terrace is great for a photo shoot for its rustic decor. We loved it!
The master bedroom is very spacious, and the bathroom was amazing for a relaxing shower. The house has details that make it feel very cozy, like home.
We will be back in Merida soon and will definitely stay at Casa Chacte again ❤Thank you Zeferino and Anna for your attention.”
